Paper Plane

Follow these steps to create a basic paper airplane:

Materials Needed

• A sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper

Steps

1. Fold the Paper in Half Start by folding the paper lengthwise down the middle. Make a sharp crease and then unfold it.

2. Fold the Top Corners Fold the top left corner down to the center crease. Repeat with the top right corner.

3. Fold the Top Edges to the Center Take the new top left edge and fold it to the center crease. Repeat with the top right edge.

4. Fold the Plane in Half Fold the plane in half along the original center crease, with the previous folds on the inside.

5. Create the Wings Fold down one side to create a wing, making the fold parallel to the center crease. Repeat on the other side.

6. Adjust the Wings Ensure the wings are even and adjust them to make sure the plane is symmetrical.
